WHAT EMPLOYEES HAVE TO SAY ABOUT SPACEAGE TRAINING

PROF. KIRILL FAKHROUTDINOV

I have a PhD., in Computer Science from St. Petersburg University.

I was a Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Far Eastern State University in Russia. I taught for over 15 years. I wrote books on programming languages. My students considered me the best.

I left teaching and worked as a Project Manager in Russia. I worked hands-on on some very large challenging projects. One of my applications I developed got the best software award in Russia.

My wife has a MS in Computer Science. She had about three years work experience in Russia. I wanted to come to the US. I came to the US as an employee of NSAL Corp. My wife could not find employment.

At NASL, I worked in MS Access, VB and some C++. After about two years, they went bankrupt. With MS Access and VB skills, I just could not find another employer. In job interviews I was uncomfortable to admit that once I was a Professor or that I have a Ph.D.

AUGUST 1999: Both my wife and myself, were unable to find a job. We had begun packing our bags to go back to Russia. And then came along Captain. He was like a God sent Angel. I was thrilled that at SpaceAge I would get to work in the latest and hottest technologies. He restored my lost pride – being a professor, he brought me back to life.

I was trained by Captain for over Three months after which I began working with SpaceAge as a Training Supervisor. Even in subjects such as C++ which I taught and worked in, I had a lot to learn from Captain. Till date, I have not come across any Professor, more brilliant than Captain.

I remember in year 2000, we were migrating our employees from C++ to Java technologies. Java J2EE technologies were new for both of us. I would spend several days studying books – day and night. Captain had no time to study. But he would read just a few pages here and there and he would question me and guide me.

Time and again, I would be just amazed as to "how come I missed it out, how come I could not think of it", etc. Captain has an amazing intellect, his foundations in computer science is very strong and this helps him grasp and understand new technologies very quickly.

SpaceAge trained and provided employment to my wife too. SpaceAge gave me an opportunity because of which I am once again proud to say that “I am a Professor”.

Captain Malhan has transformed our lives and we are forever grateful to him and SpaceAge.

At SpaceAge I have seen Captain design and develop all business applications – The Falcon Suite of Applications – for HR, Recruiting, Marketing, Accounts, Invoicing, Custom Email Server, Integrated Email Browser, Document Management, Knowledge Bases, Mass Mailing, Custom designed Messaging middleware for Distributed Database and File Synchronization, Training Management System (Dronacharya), etc.

In May 2000, I was simply stunned to see the simple cost effective solution that Captain developed for synchronizing distributed databases and file systems and various SpaceAge office locations – in New Jersey, Florida, his home office and his mobile office. He created proprietary extensions to XML - SXML, PML and FRML. He designed and coded parsers.

Dronacharya is a very important  Training Management System in SpaceAge. I dont think any comapany out there has anything that can match the content we have. The content that Captain enters in Dronacharya is very well written, some of which you will not find in any text book.
